About the Role
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Clinical Research Associate to support vital pharmaceutical trials in Birmingham . This hybrid role involves a blend of remote work and on-site visits to clinical sites, ensuring the integrity and quality of clinical data. You will play a crucial role in the execution of clinical studies, overseeing site compliance, monitoring patient safety, and verifying data accuracy. This position requires a proactive individual with a strong understanding of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and regulatory requirements, contributing to the successful advancement of new therapeutic agents.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor clinical trial sites to ensure adherence to study protocols, SOPs, and regulatory requirements.
- Verify the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of clinical data through source data verification (SDV).
- Manage site communications, support site staff, and facilitate study-related procedures.
- Prepare and present monitoring visit reports, identifying site issues and proposing corrective actions.
- Ensure patient safety and rights are protected throughout the trial process.
- Assist in site selection, initiation, and close-out activities as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a life science, nursing, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Clinical Research Associate (CRA) or similar monitoring role.
- Thorough understanding of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) , ICH guidelines, and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Experience with electronic data capture (EDC) systems and clinical trial management systems (CTMS).
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel to clinical sites as needed and manage a remote-based workload effectively.
