Clinical Research Associate

About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated and meticulous Clinical Research Associate (CRA) to join their expanding clinical operations team based in Newcastle upon Tyne . This role is critical in ensuring the successful execution of clinical trials, maintaining the integrity of data, and upholding compliance with regulatory standards. You will play a key part in the development of groundbreaking medicines by monitoring study sites, verifying data accuracy, and managing study-related activities. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct site visits (initiation, monitoring, and close-out) to ensure adherence to study protocols and regulatory requirements.
• Verify the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of clinical data through source data verification and review of case report forms (CRFs).
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with investigators, site staff, and internal project teams.
• Ensure compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP), FDA regulations, and other relevant guidelines.
• Manage study supplies, troubleshoot site issues, and facilitate timely resolution of data discrepancies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a life science, nursing, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Clinical Research Associate or in a similar clinical trial monitoring role.
• In-depth knowledge of GCP, ICH guidelines, and relevant regulatory requirements.
• Strong understanding of clinical trial processes, from site initiation to study close-out.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
