About the Role
Our client seeks a meticulous and dedicated Clinical Research Associate to support pivotal clinical trials within the pharmaceutical sector. Based in Birmingham , this role involves a hybrid working model, blending remote work with essential site visits. You will be responsible for ensuring that clinical trials are conducted, recorded, and reported in accordance with the study protocol, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and regulatory requirements. Your work will directly contribute to the generation of high-quality data necessary for drug approval, safeguarding patient safety and data integrity throughout the trial process. This is a vital role in bringing new therapies to patients, requiring strong organizational skills and a commitment to GCP standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct site initiation, monitoring, and close-out visits to ensure compliance with protocols and regulations.
- Verify the accuracy and completeness of clinical data through source data verification (SDV).
- Manage and maintain essential trial documents, ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Serve as the primary liaison between study sites, the sponsor, and other study partners.
- Identify, track, and resolve site-level issues and deviations promptly.
- Train and support site staff on study-related procedures and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a life science, nursing, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Clinical Research Associate (CRA) or equivalent role.
- Thorough understanding of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines and regulatory requirements.
- Experience with various therapeutic areas and clinical trial phases.
- Strong monitoring skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective site management.
