Clinical Trial Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Clinical Trial Manager to oversee the execution of pharmaceutical clinical trials in Birmingham . This role is crucial for ensuring that studies are conducted according to protocol, Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines, and all applicable regulatory requirements. You will manage multiple aspects of clinical trials, from initiation to closure, working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders. This hybrid position offers the flexibility to balance remote work with essential in-office collaboration and site visits, contributing to the successful advancement of new medicines.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, manage, and execute assigned clinical trials according to approved protocols and timelines.
• Oversee site selection, initiation, monitoring, and close-out activities, ensuring data integrity and patient safety.
• Manage study budgets, resource allocation, and vendor relationships effectively.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including GCP , FDA, and EMA regulations.
• Prepare and present study progress reports to internal management and relevant stakeholders.
• Lead and motivate clinical research associates (CRAs) and other study personnel.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a life science, nursing, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in clinical research, with at least 2 years in a Clinical Trial Manager role.
• Proven experience in managing all phases of clinical trials (Phase I-IV).
• Strong understanding of ICH-GCP guidelines and global regulatory requirements.
• Excellent project management, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in clinical trial management systems (CTMS) and electronic data capture (EDC) systems.
