Clinical Trial Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly organized and experienced Clinical Trial Manager to oversee the execution of clinical trials from initiation to closure in Plymouth . This integral role involves managing study timelines, budgets, resources, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and protocols. You will work closely with internal teams, external vendors, and investigational sites to deliver high-quality clinical trial data. This position offers a significant opportunity to drive clinical research forward within a dynamic pharmaceutical environment in Devon , utilising a hybrid working model.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage clinical trial budgets, timelines, and resource allocation.
• Oversee the selection, training, and performance management of clinical trial sites and study personnel.
• Ensure compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP ), ICH guidelines, and all applicable regulatory requirements.
• Manage vendor relationships, including Contract Research Organizations (CROs) and other third-party service providers.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive study documentation, including protocols, Investigator's Brochures, and monitoring plans.
• Facilitate effective communication among study team members, investigators, and regulatory authorities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a life science, healthcare, or related field; Master's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in clinical trial management within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
• Proven track record of successfully managing complex clinical trials from start to finish.
• In-depth knowledge of GCP , regulatory requirements, and clinical trial processes.
• Strong leadership, project management, and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
