Clinical Trial Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and organised Clinical Trial Manager to oversee the execution of Phase II and III clinical trials in Edinburgh . You will lead project teams, ensuring trials are conducted on time, within budget, and in compliance with all ethical and regulatory standards. This is a key leadership role that requires a strong understanding of clinical trial operations, risk management, and stakeholder communication. The role offers a hybrid working model , blending essential site visits and team meetings with the flexibility of remote work.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of clinical trial execution from initiation to close-out.
• Develop and manage trial budgets, timelines, and resources effectively.
• Lead and motivate cross-functional trial teams, including CRAs, data managers, and medical monitors.
• Ensure compliance with GCP, ICH guidelines , and relevant regulatory requirements.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for investigators, ethics committees, and regulatory agencies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a life science, healthcare, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in clinical trial management within the pharmaceutical or CRO industry.
• Proven experience managing complex multi-center clinical trials.
• Strong knowledge of clinical trial software and data management systems.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
