Clinical Trial Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Clinical Trial Manager to oversee the execution of clinical trials in Newcastle upon Tyne . You will play a crucial role in ensuring that trials are conducted in accordance with regulatory requirements, ethical standards, and company SOPs. This hybrid role offers a balance between remote work flexibility and essential in-person collaboration with site staff and internal teams. Your expertise will be vital in managing trial timelines, budgets, and resources to deliver high-quality data and successful trial outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage comprehensive clinical trial protocols and project plans.
• Oversee the selection, training, and monitoring of clinical trial sites and investigators.
• Ensure compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP), regulatory guidelines, and study-specific procedures.
• Manage trial budgets, timelines, and resource allocation to ensure efficient trial conduct.
• Liaise with internal departments (e.g., regulatory affairs, data management) and external vendors.
• Prepare and present regular trial status updates to stakeholders and senior management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a life science, nursing, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in clinical research, with at least 2 years in a trial management role.
• Strong understanding of ICH-GCP guidelines and regulatory requirements for clinical trials.
• Experience in managing multiple clinical trials simultaneously.
• Proficiency in clinical trial management software and electronic data capture (EDC) systems.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
