About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly organized and experienced Clinical Trials Manager to oversee the execution of critical clinical studies from their base in Coventry, West Midlands, UK . This role is essential for ensuring that all trials are conducted according to strict regulatory standards, protocols, and timelines, ultimately contributing to the successful development and approval of new pharmaceutical products. You will manage a portfolio of trials, coordinate with investigational sites, and collaborate closely with internal teams, including regulatory affairs, data management, and medical affairs. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional passionate about advancing patient care through rigorous clinical research within a dedicated team.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage comprehensive clinical trial protocols, budgets, and timelines.
- Select, train, and manage investigative sites and clinical research staff.
- Ensure adherence to Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines, regulatory requirements, and study protocols.
- Oversee data collection, monitoring, and reporting throughout the trial lifecycle.
- Manage relationships with external vendors, CROs, and key opinion leaders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a life science, nursing, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in clinical trial management within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
- In-depth knowledge of GCP, ICH guidelines, and relevant regulatory requirements in the UK and EU.
- Proven ability to manage multiple clinical trials simultaneously.
- Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.
