About the Role
Our client is seeking an innovative and experienced Cloud Solutions Architect to join their fully remote team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and guiding the implementation of advanced cloud-based solutions that meet complex business requirements. This role requires a deep understanding of cloud technologies, architectural best practices, and a passion for building resilient, scalable, and secure systems. You will work closely with stakeholders across the organization to translate business needs into effective technical strategies, driving digital transformation from anywhere.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and architect scalable, highly available, and secure cloud solutions on platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Develop technical roadmaps and strategies for cloud adoption and migration projects.
- Collaborate with engineering and business teams to understand requirements and provide expert guidance on cloud best practices.
- Evaluate and recommend new cloud technologies and services to enhance existing solutions.
- Create detailed architectural diagrams, documentation, and presentations for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams during the implementation phase.
Requirements
- Extensive experience (7+ years) in IT architecture, with a strong focus on cloud computing.
- Proven track record of designing and implementing complex cloud solutions.
- In-depth knowledge of at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their core services.
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture, containerization, and serverless computing.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, essential for a remote role.
- Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are highly desirable.
