About the Role

Our client, a leader in cloud innovation, is seeking an experienced Cloud Solutions Architect to join their fully remote team, supporting clients across the globe from their Glasgow operational base. You will play a critical role in designing, developing, and implementing scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions tailored to meet diverse client needs. Key Responsibilities

• Design and architect robust, scalable, and highly available cloud infrastructure solutions on platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand business requirements and translate them into comprehensive technical designs.
• Develop migration strategies and roadmaps for moving existing applications and infrastructure to the cloud.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance on cloud best practices, security, and cost optimization.
• Evaluate and recommend new cloud technologies and services to enhance solutions.
• Create detailed technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, deployment plans, and operational procedures.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Cloud Solutions Architect or in a similar senior cloud engineering role.
• In-depth knowledge of at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their core services.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts, security principles, and infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are highly desirable.
