About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Solutions Architect to design and implement scalable, reliable, and cost-effective cloud solutions in Wolverhampton . This strategic role involves working closely with business and technical teams to understand requirements and translate them into robust cloud architectures on platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP. You will be responsible for defining technical strategies, guiding development teams, and ensuring best practices in cloud adoption and governance. Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain secure, highly available, and fault-tolerant cloud infrastructure.
- Develop and document cloud architecture blueprints and migration strategies.
- Evaluate and recommend cloud services and technologies to meet business and technical requirements.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to development and operations teams.
- Optimize cloud environments for cost, performance, and scalability.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and security best practices in cloud deployments.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define cloud strategy and roadmap.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in cloud computing, with a strong focus on architecture and design.
- In-depth knowledge of at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Proven experience in designing and implementing solutions using microservices, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and serverless technologies.
- Strong understanding of networking, security, and database concepts in a cloud context.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert).
