About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Cloud Solutions Architect to join their expanding IT infrastructure team in Milton Keynes . In this critical role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing robust cloud-based solutions that align with business objectives. You will work closely with various departments to understand their needs and translate them into scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud architectures. Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement comprehensive cloud strategies and architectures on platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP .
• Evaluate and select appropriate cloud services and technologies to meet business and technical requirements.
• Develop and maintain documentation for cloud infrastructure, including diagrams, configurations, and operational procedures.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure seamless deployment and integration of cloud solutions.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance on cloud best practices, security, and cost optimization.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to cloud infrastructure performance and availability.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Cloud Solutions Architect or in a similar cloud engineering role.
• In-depth knowledge of major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP ) and their services.
• Strong understanding of infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Excellent understanding of networking, security, and database concepts in a cloud environment.
• Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are highly desirable.
