About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Cloud Solutions Architect to join their innovative technology team in Plymouth . This senior role is responsible for designing and implementing scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud-based solutions that meet the company's strategic objectives. You will work closely with development, operations, and business teams to translate requirements into robust architectural designs, leveraging expertise in major cloud platforms. Key Responsibilities

• Design and architect robust, scalable, and secure cloud solutions on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Develop architectural blueprints, documentation, and roadmaps for cloud deployments and migrations.
• Evaluate and recommend cloud services and technologies to meet business and technical requirements.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to ensure successful implementation and ongoing management of cloud infrastructure.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance on cloud best practices, security standards, and cost optimization strategies.
• Stay abreast of emerging cloud technologies and trends, assessing their potential impact and applicability.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Cloud Solutions Architect or in a similar senior technical role.
• In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with one or more major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Strong understanding of cloud networking, security, identity management, and data storage solutions.
• Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts.
• Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are highly desirable.
