About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly experienced Cloud Solutions Architect to join their innovative technology strategy team in Norwich . This role is central to designing, implementing, and managing scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud-based solutions that align with business objectives. You will collaborate with stakeholders across departments to understand requirements and architect transformative cloud strategies. This hybrid position allows for effective collaboration and flexibility, blending in-office engagement with remote work capabilities, contributing to a culture of innovation and excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and architect robust, scalable, and secure cloud solutions on platforms such as AWS , Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Develop comprehensive cloud strategies, including migration plans, infrastructure roadmaps, and disaster recovery solutions.
- Evaluate and recommend cloud services and technologies to meet business and technical requirements.
- Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to ensure seamless implementation and integration of cloud solutions.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance on cloud best practices, security standards, and cost optimization strategies.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation for cloud architectures, configurations, and processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture and design, with a deep understanding of major cloud platforms (AWS , Azure, GCP).
- Proven experience in designing and implementing complex cloud migrations and infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of networking, security, and data management within cloud environments.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
