About the Role

Our client is looking for an experienced Cloud Solutions Architect to join their innovative technology department based in Brighton . This role is key to designing and implementing scalable, reliable, and cost-effective cloud-based solutions that align with business objectives. You will work with stakeholders across various departments to understand their needs and translate them into robust cloud architectures, primarily leveraging platforms like AWS and Azure. Key Responsibilities

• Design and architect end-to-end cloud solutions, ensuring scalability, security, and high availability.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to implement and deploy cloud infrastructure and services.
• Evaluate and recommend cloud services and technologies to meet business and technical requirements.
• Develop best practices for cloud governance, cost management, and operational efficiency.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance on cloud strategies and implementations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 7+ years of experience in IT architecture, with a significant focus on cloud solutions.
• Proven experience designing and implementing solutions on major cloud platforms such as AWS and/or Microsoft Azure.
• Strong understanding of cloud networking, security principles, and microservices architecture.
• Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation is essential.
