About the Role

Our client is looking for an experienced Cloud Solutions Architect to design and implement scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud strategies in Edinburgh . You will work closely with business and technology stakeholders to translate requirements into robust cloud architectures, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to shape the future of our client's cloud infrastructure and drive digital transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and architect cloud solutions on major platforms like AWS , Azure, or GCP.
• Develop roadmaps for cloud adoption, migration, and optimization.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance on cloud best practices, security, and governance.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure successful implementation of cloud architectures.
• Evaluate and recommend new cloud services and technologies to meet business needs.
• Develop and maintain documentation for cloud architectures and solutions.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Cloud Solutions Architect or similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Strong understanding of cloud networking, security, compute, and storage services.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert).
