About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced and innovative Cloud Solutions Architect to join their advanced technology team based in Bristol . You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing secure, scalable, and cost-effective cloud solutions across multiple platforms. This pivotal role involves collaborating with engineering, operations, and business teams to translate complex requirements into robust cloud architectures that drive business objectives. We are looking for a strategic thinker who can lead cloud strategy and adoption within a dynamic hybrid work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and architect scalable, resilient, and secure cloud infrastructure solutions on platforms such as AWS , Azure, or GCP.
• Develop comprehensive cloud migration strategies and roadmaps for existing applications and services.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance on cloud best practices, governance, and cost optimization.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure seamless implementation and operation of cloud services.
• Evaluate and recommend new cloud technologies and services to enhance current infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot complex cloud-related issues and develop proactive solutions to ensure high availability.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, with a strong focus on cloud architecture and design.
• Proven expertise in designing and implementing solutions on major cloud platforms like AWS , Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Deep understanding of cloud networking, security, compute, storage, and database services.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Strong knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD principles.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
