About the Role
Our client is seeking a visionary Cloud Solutions Architect to design and implement scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud strategies for their organization, operating in a fully remote capacity. This role requires a deep understanding of cloud platforms, infrastructure, and services to architect robust solutions that meet business objectives. You will collaborate with engineering teams, product managers, and stakeholders across the company to translate requirements into resilient cloud architectures. Key Responsibilities
- Design and architect end-to-end cloud solutions on platforms such as AWS , Azure, or GCP, ensuring scalability, security, and high availability.
- Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure best practices, standards, and documentation for the organization.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to guide the implementation of cloud solutions and provide technical oversight.
- Perform cost analysis and optimization for cloud resources, identifying opportunities for efficiency and savings.
- Evaluate and recommend new cloud services and technologies to enhance existing solutions and drive innovation.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams on cloud architecture and best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in IT infrastructure, with at least 3 years focused on cloud architecture and design.
- Extensive experience with major cloud providers (AWS , Azure, GCP), including services like EC2, S3, VPC, Lambda, AKS, or GKE.
- Proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Strong understanding of networking, security principles, and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
