Job Summary

Moog Aircraft Group is looking for an apprentice trained, experienced Manual / CNC Grinder to join the team at our facility based in Wolverhampton on Shifts once training is completed. At Moog we're focused on the customer and for us this means designing complex mechanical products that are often bespoke and high profile. Our Machinists work to exceptionally close tolerance, an essential requirement of the aerospace industry. xwwtmva

Responsibilities Include

• Experience in Setting, Operating Manual Cylindrical machines S20/RM250 and Setting CNC ( Preferably Studer S33/S31)
• Capability of machining exotic and hardened materials
• Carry out own 1st off inspection and check/complete the necessary quality documentation
• Precision manual cylindrical grinding, working to achieve limits to 0.00005"
• Able to set and run multiple machine / processes.

Key Skills and experience:

• A recognised engineering apprenticeship
• Cylindrical grinding experience essential
• Mate grinding experience preferred
• Previous experience within an engineering
