CNC Miller, Programmer, Setter - The Role We are seeking a skilled CNC Miller (Programmer/Setter/Operator) to join our expert production team. In this role, you will take ownership of the manufacturing process from initial programming through to final inspection, working with high-value materials and tight tolerances.
CNC Miller, Programmer, Setter - Key Responsibilities
- Program, Set, and Operate CNC Hurco or Haas Milling machines.
- Utilize Controls efficiently using either Hurco or Fanuc systems.
- Manage Batch Production ranging from small to medium runs.
- Maintain Tight Tolerances to ensure the highest standards of component quality.
- Inspect Component Quality using standard manual measuring equipment.
CNC Miller, Programmer, Setter - Requirements & Experience
- Proven Track Record as a CNC Miller, Programmer, and Setter.
- Control Proficiency with deep working knowledge of Fanuc or Hurco systems.
- Precision Focus with experience working to tight tolerances for demanding industries.
- Self-Motivated with the ability to interpret engineering drawings independently.
Shift Patterns We offer flexibility with dedicated day or night shifts to suit your lifestyle:
Day Shift Monday to Thursday: 08:30 – 16:30 Friday: 08:30 – 12:30 (Enjoy an early weekend finish!)
Night Shift Dedicated night shift hours and specific shift premiums can be discussed at the interview stage
