We're seeking a skilled individual with experience in CNC programming & machining, a strong understanding of CAM software, and a qualification in Mechanical Engineering.

Key Responsibilities: Perform complex machining operations on CNC milling machines and read and understand G-code Mentor fellow employees to resolve complex machining problems Write and edit complex CNC programs to support production requirements providing optimum manufacturing cost and quality.

Set and operate 3, 4, and 5 axis machines Read and understand Technical drawings Produce quality parts in a timely manner Verify conformance of finished workpieces to specifications using precision measuring instruments. Collaborate with machinists, Engineering, and Product/Production Management to solve problems and improve processes.

Other duties as assigned What you'll bring: Required ONC/HNC (Mechanical, Manufacturing Technology or Industrial Technology) or equivalent experience in a related field Proven machining experience on CNC equipment or using CNC solid modeling (turning and milling) Delcam or MasterCam Programming experience Extensive knowledge of machine functions (G code, M code, Offsets, etc) Preferred Lean Manufacturing Benefits: Competitive salary 25 days annual leave + bank holidays Matched pension up to 5% Health Cash Plan offering £600 per annum towards your standard healthcare costs for both you and your family, plus access to a free 24-hour doctor service Income protection insurance Cycle to work scheme Enhanced maternity/paternity pay Corporate, wellness and charity events throughout the year with the option to earn an extra day of annual leave Please note we have a PSL in place and are unable to accept speculative CV’s from recruitment agencies.
