As a CNC Machinist you must be able to programme, set & operate CNC lathes to produce precision components for a variety of industries. The successful candidate will be a fully skilled engineer with CNC experience with the ability to programme, set and operate and ideally have CAD/ CAM programming experience. Star or Citizen Sliding Head and Fanuc experience is necessary for the role. Job Requirements:

• To produce accurate, high-quality components.
• Plan the production method, create programmes, and identify any tooling or fixture requirements.
• Undertake any off set or minor changes to programmes to produce quality components to drawing limits/customer requirements.
• Have a good understanding of Engineering drawings.
• Have experience in machining various metals.
• Be confident in working to tight tolerances and checking your own work during production batch runs.
• Adhere to production schedules.
• Able to program and set machine within allocated times.
• Adhere ISO9001:2015 quality standard requirements
• Able to create entire new programs to customer's drawing requirements. xwwtmva
• Able to program and set effectively to optimize cycle times.
