CNC Programmer

Up to £18.50 per hour (Dependent on Experience)

The Best Connection Walsall is recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced

CNC Programmer to join their well-established manufacturing business in Willenhall.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled CNC professional looking to secure a permanent position with a competitive salary, regular overtime earnings, and a great work-life balance with an early finish on Fridays.

Working Hours

Monday to Thursday: 07:30 - 17:00

Friday: 07:30 - 15:45

• 40 hours paid at standard rate

time and one-third

Key Responsibilities

• Programming, setting and operating CNC machinery.
• Producing precision components to engineering drawings and specifications.
• Editing and optimising CNC programs to maximise efficiency.
• Selecting appropriate tooling and machine settings.
• Conducting quality inspections using measuring equipment.
• Troubleshooting and resolving machining issues.
• Ensuring work is completed to high quality and safety standards.

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience as a CNC Programmer.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of CNC controls and programming techniques.
• Strong understanding of machining processes and tooling.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
