We are looking for an experienced CNC Router Programmer to join a well-established business specialising in high-end joinery and interior fit-outs.
The Role
The role will involve programming and operating CNC routers to produce high-quality, bespoke components. You will need good knowledge of CAD and Alphacam, with the ability to read technical drawings and work accurately to specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Programme, set and operate CNC routers.
- Use CAD and Alphacam to create and edit programmes.
- Read and interpret technical drawings.
- Work with materials including MDF, plywood and solid wood.
- Carry out quality checks to ensure finished products meet specifications.
- Maintain a safe, clean and organised workshop.
- Work closely with the wider production team to meet deadlines.
About You
- Previous experience in CNC programming and router operation.
- Good knowledge of CAD and Alphacam.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Reliable, punctual and trustworthy.
- Good understanding of Health & Safety.
- Inventor experience is desirable but not essential.
