Due to continued expansion, our client is seeking a skilled CNC Programmer/Setter to join their busy manufacturing team in Dudley. This is an excellent opportunity to secure a long-term position with a stable employer offering modern facilities, ongoing investment, and genuine career prospects.

The OpportunityWorking within a precision engineering environment, you will be responsible for programming, setting, and optimising CNC machinery to produce high-quality aerospace components to exacting standards.

Key Responsibilities

Create, edit, and optimise CNC programs for precision aerospace components

Set and operate Fanuc-controlled CNC machinery

Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications

Program and set CNC lathes and machining centres using CAD/CAM software (training provided)

Identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce cycle times, and increase efficiency

Ensure all work meets strict aerospace quality standards and tolerances

Support production requirements while maintaining high levels of accuracy and consistency

What We're Looking For Essential Skills & Experience:

Previous experience as a CNC Programmer/Setter

Strong working knowledge of Fanuc controls

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings

Experience working to tight tolerances within a precision engineering environment

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Desirable

Aerospace manufacturing experience

Experience within a highly regulated engineering sector

Working Hours Monday

Thursday:

7:30am

4:15pm Friday:

7:30am

12:00pm
