Salary: £41,000 - £45,000 per annum
Contract Type: Permanent
Working Pattern: Full Time, 40 hours per week

Our client, a prominent and growing manufacturer, is on the lookout for an experienced CNC Team Leader to oversee a dynamic production area within their modern manufacturing facility in South Yorkshire. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a hands-on leader passionate about developing talent, driving performance, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
The Role:
As the CNC Team Leader, you will be at the helm of a production team, ensuring seamless operations and achieving operational targets while upholding the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency. Your responsibilities will include:
Leading, motivating, and developing a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Conducting daily start-up meetings to communicate production priorities effectively
Monitoring productivity, quality, and safety performance against established targets
Ensuring staffing levels and skillsets align with operational requirements
Driving continuous improvement initiatives utilising Lean Manufacturing principles
Maintaining compliance with health, safety, and environmental procedures
Supporting quality standards, audits, and process controls
Managing production schedules to ensure targets are met
Coaching and mentoring team members to encourage engagement and professional growth
Collaborating with various departments to resolve issues and enhance performanceAbout You:
To thrive in this role, candidates should ideally possess:
Previous experience as a Team Leader, Cell Leader, Production Supervisor, or Senior Operative within manufacturing
Proven ability to manage and motivate teams in a production environment
Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement methodologies
Knowledge of quality systems and production processes
Experience with production planning, scheduling, and capacity management
Proficiency in IT, including Microsoft Office and manufacturing systems
Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills
A proactive, hands-on leadership styleWorking Hours:
Monday to Thursday: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Friday: Early finish / half-day FridayBenefits:
