6-2 / 2-10 Our client, a large manufacturing business based near Brighouse have an immediate requirement to recruit a well versed CNC Turner.
Key Responsibilities
Setting and operating for CNC Machines in the Company in-house machine shop
- Setting and operating of single spindle CNC Machines
- Inspection of colleague’s an one’s own work
- Editing Fanuc controlled programs
- Working within a team environment to achieve world class manufacturing
- Ensure smooth transition between shifts
- Strive to achieve improvement within the cell
- Work to safe health and safety instructions Skills/Experience:
- Worked in similar environment / Industry
- Be able to use engineering measuring equipment
- Be able to read engineering drawings
- Able to communicate effectively
- Experience working with Stainless Steel and Exotic material Ideal candidates will be apprentice trained engineers equivalent to NVQ Level 3 This is a permanent position where you will be expected to work a rotating early and late shift pattern. Week 1 - 6am - 2pm Monday to Thursday & 6am - 11:30am on a Friday Week 2 - 2pm - 10pm Monday to Thursday & 11:30am - 5pm on a Friday. In return you can expect an hourly rate of £17.95 - £20.55 per hour dependant on experience, plus a shift allowance of 20% when on late shift This equates to a salary of £38500 - £44000 This vacancy is being advertised by AMF Recruitment Ltd, a specialist recruitment business supporting the manufacturing industry
