This role is focused on providing financial insights and analysis to support commercial decision-making, drive profitability, and enhance business performance. You will work closely with sales, marketing, and operational departments to understand financial drivers and identify growth opportunities. Key Responsibilities
- Provide financial support and analysis for commercial teams, including pricing, profitability, and investment appraisals.
- Develop and manage budgets and forecasts for commercial activities, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Prepare detailed variance analysis reports, identifying key trends and providing actionable recommendations.
- Assist in the development and tracking of key performance indicators (KPIs) for commercial performance.
- Contribute to strategic planning and business development initiatives through financial modelling and evaluation.
- Ensure adherence to financial policies and procedures across commercial operations in the United Kingdom .
Requirements
- Qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) with experience in a commercial finance role.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Proficiency in financial modelling, budgeting, and forecasting techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders.
- Experience with accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills are essential.
- Understanding of commercial business practices within the UK market.
