Our client requires a dynamic Commercial Cleaning Manager to lead their operations in Birmingham . This role is crucial for maintaining immaculate standards across a portfolio of commercial properties, ensuring client satisfaction and operational efficiency. You will be responsible for managing a team of cleaners, optimizing service delivery, and ensuring all contractual obligations regarding cleaning are met to the highest standards. This is a hands-on management position requiring strong leadership and a commitment to excellence in facility hygiene within the bustling West Midlands region.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day cleaning operations for multiple commercial sites in Birmingham .
- Recruit, train, schedule, and manage cleaning staff to ensure adequate coverage and high performance.
- Develop and implement standardized cleaning procedures and quality control measures.
- Manage budgets for cleaning supplies, equipment, and staff resources effectively.
- Conduct site inspections, address client feedback, and implement necessary improvements promptly.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations related to cleaning services.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a cleaning management or supervisory role, preferably in commercial settings.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
- Strong understanding of cleaning best practices, sanitation standards, and related health and safety legislation.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in managing resources and budgets for cleaning operations.
- Valid UK driver's license for site visits across Birmingham .
