About the Role
Our client is looking for a proactive Commercial Cleaning Manager to oversee cleaning services for various commercial properties in and around Sunderland . This role requires a blend of on-site supervision and remote administrative duties, ensuring efficient and high-quality cleaning operations across different business premises in Tyne and Wear . You will be responsible for managing a team of cleaning staff, implementing cleaning schedules, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards, and maintaining client satisfaction. This is an excellent opportunity to take on a key management role within the facilities management sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate the daily activities of cleaning staff across multiple commercial sites.
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules tailored to the specific needs of each client.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure that cleaning standards are consistently met and client expectations are exceeded.
- Train and mentor cleaning personnel, providing guidance on best practices and safety procedures.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels and responsible usage.
- Address client feedback and operational issues promptly and effectively.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Requirements
- Proven experience in cleaning management or a supervisory role within the cleaning industry.
- Solid understanding of commercial cleaning techniques, equipment, and supplies.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to commercial cleaning.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple sites and a dispersed team effectively.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
