About the Role

Our client is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Commercial Cleaning Supervisor to manage cleaning operations for commercial properties in Manchester . You will play a key role in ensuring that all client sites meet and exceed cleanliness standards, leading a team of cleaning staff to deliver exceptional service. This hybrid role requires a balance of on-site supervision and administrative duties, coordinating schedules, managing resources, and liaising with clients. The successful candidate will be a natural leader with a strong work ethic and a passion for maintaining pristine environments that enhance client satisfaction and business operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and motivate a team of commercial cleaning staff to ensure high-quality service delivery.
• Develop and implement effective cleaning schedules and work plans for various commercial contracts.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor performance, identify deficiencies, and ensure adherence to standards.
• Manage cleaning supplies and equipment, including ordering, inventory control, and maintenance.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their needs and resolving any issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of staff hours, cleaning reports, and supply usage.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a Cleaning Supervisory role or similar management position within the cleaning industry.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team effectively.
• Knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques, equipment, and health and safety regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client and team interactions.
• Proficiency in using scheduling software and basic computer applications.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and a keen eye for detail.
