About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Commercial Cleaning Supervisor to lead and manage cleaning teams at various sites in and around Oxford . This role is crucial for ensuring that all cleaning services are delivered efficiently and to the highest quality standards. You will be responsible for supervising cleaning staff, conducting quality checks, managing schedules, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. This position offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing for a balance between on-site supervision and administrative tasks completed remotely, providing flexibility and operational oversight.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct the daily activities of cleaning staff, ensuring tasks are completed effectively and on time.
• Conduct regular inspections of cleaning operations to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Develop and manage cleaning schedules, ensuring adequate staffing levels and resource allocation.
• Provide training and ongoing support to cleaning personnel, promoting best practices and safety awareness.
• Respond promptly to client requests or complaints, ensuring satisfactory resolution.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as needed.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a supervisory role within the commercial cleaning or facilities management sector.
• Strong knowledge of cleaning procedures, chemicals, and health & safety regulations (e.g., COSHH).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate and manage a team effectively in various environments across Oxford .
• Proficiency in basic record-keeping and scheduling.
