Commercial Counsel - Temp to Perm

Newly created opportunity for a Commercial Lawyer to join a fast-paced legal team of a FTSE-listed business on an initial 6 month FTC with view to perm.

Central London, hybrid working (3 days/week).

This position requires a commercially focused lawyer to take a pro-active role in the business, working closely with key stakeholders on a range of BAU and project based work.

Reporting to the General Counsel you will hold a varied role including:

• drafting and negotiating commercial contracts, customer and supplier side agreements
• advising on related data privacy and IP matters
• support on corporate transactions and corporate governance
• working with the Senior Counsel in delivery of legal operations related initiatives
• instructing external counsel when required

You will be c5 years PQE as a guide with experienced gained in-house as a commercial counsel, preferably with exposure to both private and public sector contracts. The ability to work effectively in a busy, lean legal team environment is key to your continued success in this role.
