Overview
Commercial Finance Manager. Location: Hybrid - Northwest or London (with occasional travel). Salary: Excellent package available. As part of an evolving finance structure, we are seeking a Commercial Finance Manager to become key strategic business partners, supporting significant operational portfolios within a large, complex organisation. Responsibilities
- Acting as a trusted finance partner, providing commercial support and financial guidance to senior business stakeholders.
- Producing budgets, forecasts and financial plans, identifying key risks, opportunities and areas for performance improvement.
- Delivering insightful financial analysis to support strategic and operational decision-making.
- Building effective working relationships across finance and the wider business to support commercial initiatives and business objectives.
- Taking ownership of key aspects of the monthly reporting cycle, ensuring timely, accurate and meaningful financial information.
- Preparing financial reports, management information and performance commentary for senior leadership.
- Identifying opportunities to enhance profitability through improved financial performance, cost management and operational efficiencies.
- Monitoring financial performance against budgets and forecasts, investigating variances and recommending appropriate actions.
- Maintaining strong financial governance, controls and compliance across the business area.
- Supporting operational managers by translating financial information into practical commercial insight.
- Contributing to the ongoing development of reporting processes, financial systems and continuous improvement initiatives.
About You
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified.
- Strong post-qualified commercial finance experience.
- Proven finance business partnering experience.
- Strong analytical, reporting and financial modelling skills.
- Experience partnering senior stakeholders.
- Background within large, complex organisations. Currently operating at Finance Manager level.
- Experience gained within outsourced services, support services, infrastructure, logistics, engineering, manufacturing, retail, healthcare or other large operational environments would all be of interest.
