About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join their dynamic team in Leicester . This role is crucial for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of commercial heating and gas systems across a variety of client sites. You will be responsible for the installation, servicing, and repair of gas appliances and associated pipework, adhering strictly to all safety regulations and industry best practices. This is a hands-on position for an individual who takes pride in their workmanship and enjoys providing essential maintenance services within a professional and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial gas boilers and heating systems.
• Conduct routine servicing and safety checks on gas appliances and pipework, ensuring compliance with Gas Safety regulations.
• Diagnose and rectify faults in gas and heating systems efficiently and effectively.
• Provide detailed service reports and maintain accurate records of all work carried out.
• Respond to emergency calls for gas-related issues and ensure minimal disruption to clients' operations.

Requirements

• Possession of a valid CCN1 and relevant commercial gas qualifications (e.g., COCN1, ICPN1, TPCP1A).
• Proven experience working as a Commercial Gas Engineer .
• Familiarity with a wide range of commercial boiler makes and models.
• Strong understanding of gas safety regulations and building codes.
• Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
