Key Responsibilities

Client Relationship Management: Build, nurture, and maintain strong, long-term relationships with business clients, acting as their trusted point of contact.
*
Business Development: Identify, prospect, and secure new commercial business opportunities through networking, warm leads, and market research to consistently hit revenue targets.
*
Account Growth: Proactively manage an existing portfolio, identifying up-sell and cross-sell opportunities to maximize revenue and client retention.
*
Consultative Selling: Conduct client meetings to deeply understand their business objectives, analyze risk, and deliver tailored, comprehensive risk solutions.
What We Are Looking For
*
Background & Experience: * Option A: 2+ years of experience within Commercial Insurance or Personal Lines looking to make the step up.
*
Option B: A strong, proven background in B2B Sales / Account Management (e.g., SaaS, recruitment, telecoms, financial services, corporate services) with a passion for learning a new industry.
*
Sales Track Record: A demonstrable history of meeting targets, strong prospecting ability, and outstanding client-facing skills.
*
Communication: Exceptional negotiation, relationship-building, and consultative presentation skills.
*
Education: Minimum Grade 4/C (or equivalent) in GCSE Maths and English.
*
Ambition: A self-starter mentality with the drive to stamp your mark on the local commercial market.
