Our client seeks a dynamic and client-focused Commercial Insurance Broker to join their thriving office in Manchester . You will be responsible for advising businesses on their insurance needs, sourcing the best policies from a range of providers, and building lasting relationships with commercial clients. This role is crucial for understanding and mitigating business risks through tailored insurance solutions. You will operate in a collaborative team environment, supported by extensive resources and training, and play a key part in the continued growth and success of the brokerage within the Manchester business community.

Key Responsibilities

Consult with commercial clients to identify their specific insurance requirements and risks.
Research and present suitable insurance policies from various providers, explaining coverage details and limitations.
Negotiate terms and premiums with insurance companies to secure the most competitive offers for clients.
Manage a portfolio of commercial clients, providing ongoing support and policy reviews.
Develop new business opportunities through networking and proactive client engagement.
Ensure all client interactions and policy documentation are handled with utmost professionalism and accuracy.

Requirements

Proven experience as an Insurance Broker, preferably within the commercial sector.
A strong understanding of various commercial insurance products and the insurance market.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
Must hold or be working towards relevant insurance qualifications (e.g., Cert CII).
Proficiency in using CRM systems and insurance broking software.
