Our client is seeking a dynamic and client-focused Commercial Insurance Broker to join their thriving brokerage in Manchester . You will be instrumental in advising businesses on their insurance needs, sourcing the most suitable policies from a panel of insurers, and building long-term relationships based on trust and expertise. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying potential risks for clients and proposing effective risk management solutions. Key Responsibilities
- Consult with commercial clients to understand their business operations, risks, and insurance requirements thoroughly.
- Source, compare, and present appropriate insurance policies from various providers, explaining coverage, terms, and conditions clearly.
- Negotiate terms and premiums with insurers to secure the best possible outcomes for clients.
- Manage client portfolios, ensuring renewals are handled efficiently and clients are kept informed of policy changes or market updates.
- Develop new business opportunities by networking, prospecting, and building strong relationships within the local business community.
- Provide ongoing advice and support to clients regarding risk management and insurance best practices.
Requirements
- Proven experience in insurance broking or a related sales role within the financial services sector.
- Excellent understanding of commercial insurance products and the insurance market.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with a client-centric approach.
- Ability to build rapport and establish long-term relationships with business owners and decision-makers.
- Relevant insurance qualifications (e.g., Cert CII) are highly desirable.
