About the Role

Our client is seeking an energetic and client-focused Commercial Insurance Broker to join their thriving brokerage in Bristol, South West England . This role involves building and managing relationships with a diverse portfolio of commercial clients, understanding their unique insurance needs, and providing tailored risk management solutions. You will be responsible for sourcing competitive quotes, negotiating terms, and ensuring clients receive exceptional service throughout the policy lifecycle. The successful candidate will thrive in a sales-driven environment, possess excellent communication skills, and have a strong understanding of the commercial insurance market.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a portfolio of commercial insurance clients through prospecting and networking.
• Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify clients' insurance requirements and exposures.
• Source, negotiate, and present insurance quotations and policy options from various insurers.
• Service existing client accounts, managing renewals and addressing any queries or claims issues promptly.
• Stay updated on market trends, new products, and regulatory changes affecting commercial insurance.
• Achieve and exceed sales targets and service level agreements.

Requirements

• Previous experience as an Insurance Broker or in a similar client-facing role within the insurance industry .
• Strong understanding of commercial insurance products and market dynamics.
• Excellent sales, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Relevant insurance qualifications (e.g., Cert CII) are highly desirable.
