About the Role

Our client is looking for a motivated and client-focused Commercial Insurance Broker to join their dynamic team in Milton Keynes . You will be responsible for advising businesses on their insurance needs, sourcing appropriate cover, and building lasting relationships with a diverse commercial clientele. This role requires a blend of sales acumen, insurance expertise, and excellent customer service skills. You will play a vital role in helping businesses protect their assets and operations, contributing to the growth and success of our client's Buckinghamshire office.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a strong portfolio of commercial clients through proactive business development.
• Conduct thorough risk assessments for businesses to identify their insurance requirements.
• Source, present, and negotiate insurance policies from a panel of leading insurers.
• Provide expert advice and guidance to clients on policy terms, conditions, and coverage options.
• Manage client renewals, ensuring retention and identifying opportunities for cross-selling.
• Stay updated on market trends, new insurance products, and regulatory changes.

Requirements

• Previous experience as an insurance broker or in a similar client-facing insurance role.
• Solid understanding of commercial insurance products and the insurance market.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to develop and maintain client relationships.
• Organized and self-motivated with the ability to manage a busy workload.
• Relevant professional qualifications (e.g., Cert CII or Dip CII) are preferred.
