About the Role

Our client is looking for a dynamic and experienced Commercial Insurance Broker to join their established team in Belfast . This office-based role requires a proactive individual dedicated to securing the best insurance solutions for commercial clients. You will be responsible for understanding clients' business needs, identifying potential risks, and sourcing appropriate insurance policies from a range of providers. Building and maintaining strong client relationships is paramount to success in this role. If you have a strong understanding of the commercial insurance market and excellent client-facing skills, this is an excellent opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

• Consult with commercial clients to understand their business operations and insurance requirements.
• Source, compare, and present suitable insurance policies from various markets.
• Negotiate terms and premiums with insurers to achieve optimal outcomes for clients.
• Manage a portfolio of commercial clients, ensuring retention and growth.
• Provide expert advice on risk management and insurance strategies.
• Process policy renewals, amendments, and new business applications efficiently.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Insurance Broker, with a focus on commercial lines.
• In-depth knowledge of commercial insurance products and the London/UK insurance markets.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build rapport and trust with business clients.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Relevant professional qualifications (e.g., ACII) are highly preferred.
