About the Role
Our client is looking for a proactive and driven Commercial Insurance Broker to join their established team in Belfast . You will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with commercial clients, understanding their unique insurance needs, and sourcing the most suitable policies from a range of providers. This role requires excellent sales, negotiation, and communication skills, coupled with a solid understanding of the commercial insurance market. You will play a key role in driving business growth and ensuring client retention, working in a dynamic and client-focused environment that offers both in-office and remote working flexibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and nurture relationships with new and existing commercial clients.
- Identify client insurance needs and recommend appropriate commercial insurance products and solutions.
- Source quotes and negotiate terms with various insurance providers to secure competitive policies.
- Prepare and present comprehensive insurance proposals to clients.
- Provide ongoing support and advice to clients, managing policy renewals and mid-term adjustments.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets and client satisfaction goals.
Requirements
- Proven track record in insurance broking or a sales role within the financial services sector.
- In-depth knowledge of commercial insurance products and the wider insurance market.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build strong rapport and trust with clients.
- Relevant professional qualifications (e.g., CII) are advantageous.
