About the Role
Our client is looking for a driven and client-focused Commercial Insurance Broker to join their esteemed practice in Glasgow . This role involves building and maintaining strong relationships with commercial clients, understanding their unique business risks, and providing tailored insurance solutions to protect their assets and operations. You will be instrumental in sourcing the best cover from a panel of insurers, negotiating terms, and advising clients on risk management strategies. The successful candidate will be a persuasive communicator with a deep understanding of commercial insurance products and a passion for client success within the vibrant Scottish business community.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and nurture relationships with a portfolio of commercial insurance clients.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments to understand client needs and identify potential exposures.
- Source and present competitive insurance quotations from various markets.
- Negotiate terms, premiums, and conditions with insurers to secure optimal coverage for clients.
- Advise clients on risk management strategies and loss prevention measures.
- Handle client queries, policy adjustments, and renewals efficiently and professionally.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Insurance Broker, preferably within the commercial sector.
- Strong understanding of commercial insurance products (e.g., property, liability, business interruption).
- Excellent sales, negotiation, and client relationship management skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet challenging sales targets.
- Relevant professional qualifications (e.g., Cert CII or Dip CII) are highly desirable.
- Good knowledge of the Scottish business landscape and its specific insurance needs.
