About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and proactive Commercial Insurance Broker to join their well-established brokerage in Norwich . This role is responsible for managing a portfolio of commercial clients, providing expert advice on risk management and insurance solutions, and securing competitive terms from insurers. You will play a key role in client retention and new business acquisition, fostering strong relationships and ensuring client satisfaction. Key Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of commercial insurance clients, providing ongoing advice and service.
• Identify client needs and recommend appropriate insurance products and risk management strategies.
• Source, negotiate, and place commercial insurance risks with relevant insurers.
• Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients and insurers.
• Handle client queries, mid-term adjustments, renewals, and claims support.
• Actively seek new business opportunities through networking and referrals.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Insurance Broker or Account Executive, with a focus on commercial lines.
• In-depth knowledge of commercial insurance products and the London and regional insurance markets.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build rapport and trust with clients and underwriters.
• Understanding of risk management principles and regulatory requirements.
• Relevant professional qualifications, such as Cert CII or Dip CII, are highly desirable.
