About the Role
Our client, a well-established commercial law firm based in Birmingham , is actively recruiting for a dedicated Commercial Litigation Solicitor . You will be responsible for managing a caseload of complex commercial disputes, representing clients across various sectors in negotiations, mediations, and court proceedings. Key Responsibilities
- Manage and conduct a broad spectrum of commercial litigation cases from inception to conclusion.
- Advise clients on dispute resolution strategies, including pre-litigation advice, negotiation, and settlement discussions.
- Prepare court documents, pleadings, witness statements, and manage disclosure processes.
- Represent clients in mediations, arbitrations, and court hearings, including applications and trials.
- Conduct legal research and provide well-reasoned opinions on complex legal issues.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring clear communication and managing expectations effectively.
Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor with at least 5 years' experience in commercial litigation.
- Demonstrated experience in handling complex contractual disputes, professional negligence, and debt recovery.
- Proficiency in Civil Procedure Rules and evidence handling.
- Strong advocacy, negotiation, and drafting skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a dedicated litigation team.
- Membership with the Law Society of England and Wales.
