GW Power is recruiting a Commercial Manager to strengthen commercial performance across its growing portfolio of projects. The Commercial Manager will work closely with operational, finance, estimating and site teams to manage costs, contracts and risk. As Commercial Manager, you'll provide the financial insight and commercial guidance needed to keep projects on track. This Commercial Manager opportunity would suit a commercially astute professional who enjoys collaboration, problem-solving and turning financial information into action.
GW Power is an established M&E, renewable technologies, maintenance and decarbonisation provider delivering projects across commercial and public-sector estates. Its portfolio spans electrical and mechanical installations, service and maintenance, testing and compliance, and low-carbon technologies.
Reporting to the Operations Director, you'll play a central role in protecting the commercial performance of projects across the business. Working closely with contract managers, estimators, accounts, site teams and clients, you'll provide the contractual guidance and commercial challenge needed to support successful delivery.
From cash‑flow forecasting and contract reviews to valuations, variations and final accounts, you'll bring greater commercial visibility to key projects and ensure stakeholders understand where each job stands.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Provide commercial guidance across a varied portfolio of projects.
- Review and manage contract performance, cash flow, costs, profitability and commercial risks.
- Manage valuations, applications, variations and final accounts.
- Support subcontractor appointments, procurement and contract negotiations.
- Issue contractual notices and help resolve claims, delays and disputes.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- Experience in commercial management, quantity surveying or a similar role.
- Strong cost‑control, cash‑flow forecasting and project‑profitability skills.
- Experience working with NEC, JCT or similar construction contracts.
- Experience within construction, M&E or renewable energy, gained with a principal contractor or subcontractor.
- A proactive, analytical and collaborative approach.
- Strong communication skills and the confidence to influence stakeholders at every level.
