About the Role
Our client, a dynamic architectural practice specializing in commercial and retail developments, is looking for a skilled Commercial Property Architect to join their Nottingham office. This role involves leading the design and execution of innovative commercial projects, including office buildings, retail spaces, and mixed-use developments. You will collaborate closely with developers, clients, and construction teams to deliver high-quality, functional, and aesthetically pleasing commercial environments that meet market demands. Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop architectural plans for new commercial buildings and refurbishments.
- Engage with clients and developers to understand project briefs, market requirements, and budgets.
- Produce detailed architectural drawings, 3D visualizations, and specifications for planning and construction.
- Ensure designs comply with relevant building regulations, fire safety standards, and accessibility requirements.
- Coordinate with structural engineers, MEP consultants, and other project stakeholders.
- Manage project timelines and deliverables throughout the design and construction phases.
Requirements
- Qualified Architect with significant experience in commercial property design .
- Strong portfolio demonstrating successful commercial and retail projects.
- Proficiency in architectural design software such as Revit and AutoCAD.
- In-depth knowledge of commercial building codes, construction practices, and material selection.
- Excellent client-facing communication, negotiation, and project management skills.
