Commercial Property Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Commercial Property Manager to oversee a portfolio of properties in and around Reading . This role is responsible for ensuring the efficient and profitable management of commercial assets, including office spaces, retail units, and industrial properties. You will manage tenant relationships, oversee maintenance and repairs, handle lease administration, and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a comprehensive understanding of commercial property management principles, contributing to the maximization of property value and tenant satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of a diverse portfolio of commercial properties .
• Serve as the primary point of contact for tenants, addressing inquiries, and resolving issues promptly.
• Oversee property maintenance, including coordinating repairs, inspections, and preventative maintenance programs.
• Administer lease agreements, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions, and managing rent collection.
• Conduct regular property inspections to ensure high standards of upkeep and safety.
• Develop and manage property budgets, controlling expenditure and identifying cost-saving opportunities.

Requirements

• Proven experience in commercial property management or a related field.
• Strong understanding of lease agreements, property law, and building maintenance.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in property management software and standard office applications.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of the Reading commercial property market is an advantage.
