About the Role
Our client is seeking a skilled Commercial Property Solicitor to bolster their team in Wolverhampton . This role focuses on handling a diverse range of commercial property matters for a varied client base, including acquisitions, disposals, commercial leasing, and development projects. You will provide expert legal guidance to businesses, investors, and property developers, ensuring their interests are protected throughout complex transactions. Key Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of commercial property transactions, including sales, purchases, and development work.
- Draft, negotiate, and review commercial leases and related tenancy agreements.
- Conduct thorough due diligence on properties and advise clients on legal risks and opportunities.
- Liaise effectively with clients, agents, surveyors, and other legal professionals involved in property deals.
- Advise clients on landlord and tenant legislation, easements, and restrictive covenants.
- Ensure all transactions are completed efficiently and in compliance with relevant legal standards.
Requirements
- Qualified solicitor with at least 4 years' PQE in commercial property law.
- Proven experience in managing a varied caseload of property transactions.
- Strong negotiation and drafting skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Familiarity with Land Registry procedures and Stamp Duty Land Tax (SDLT) implications.
- Excellent communication and client relationship management capabilities.
