About the Role

Our client is seeking a qualified and experienced Commercial Property Surveyor to join their busy office in Stoke-on-Trent . This role involves assessing, managing, and advising on a diverse portfolio of commercial properties, ensuring compliance, maximizing value, and providing expert insights to clients and internal teams. You will play a key role in the acquisition, disposal, and management of commercial assets, contributing to strategic property decisions within the Staffordshire region and beyond. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of commercial property law, valuation techniques, and building surveying principles.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed surveys and inspections of commercial properties.
• Prepare reports on property condition, maintenance requirements, and potential risks.
• Advise on property acquisition and disposal strategies, including market analysis and valuation.
• Manage commercial leases, including rent reviews and lease renewals.
• Ensure compliance with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Liaise with clients, tenants, contractors, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth property operations.

Requirements

• Degree in Surveying, Property Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Commercial Property Surveyor or similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of commercial property markets and valuation methods.
• Understanding of building construction, maintenance, and surveying techniques.
• Excellent report writing, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Professional membership (e.g., RICS) is highly desirable.
